Why Are We Here

“Why are we all here?”
Many people ask,
“Have I lived life well?”
“Have I done my task?”

None can answer them
Unless they know His Word,
For only those who know it
Can sing it like a bird.

They chirp glad and free
Spreading their good news,
For this is their assignment:
On the Lord to muse.
