Please Don'T Leave Me

I don't like to be left alone.
At one point I thought it was best,
Yet lately, I still find myself
In the same situation I was before,
And some even worse.
I can be my true self
And I don't have to wear the mask,
That everyone else sees.
You are the person that keeps me grounded.
The piece of the puzzle that for so long
Was missing or not quite an exact fit.
Now I know why true love is rare.
Its because out of the whole puzzle
It seems to be abit connected
To every other piece.
So if one loses love, a little piece of everything
Is chipped away and never goes back,
In the same manner they were assembled.
So please don't take that piece of me.
Leaving me with a broken puzzle
And pieces that just don't fit anywhere.
I love you!

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
