A Simple Man

If I were to say I was a holy man,
I would be a liar.
If I were to say I was brave,
I'd tremble behind my words.
If I tried to count the stars above my head,
I'd be too great a task.
I am just a simple man,
A simple man with no purpose but to love.

To be a simple man with an uncomplicated life seems almost like a dream. It is said that a man can not be truly happy until he is satisfied with less. Another excellent poem.
