Weeping Angels

WEEPING ANGELS

i dreamed i heard the angels weep
an then they began to sing

a melody so soft and sweet
one must have a broken wing

but the first thing i should have thought
from the very start

is that somewhere in the world tonight
there lies a broken heart

the pain that comes when a love is lost
cuts well below the skin

we cry ourselfs asleep for nights
then start our lives again

the thing that we must not forget
and in these words i trust

is that somewhere in this world of ours
a true love waits for us
