I Never Thought

I never thought someone could make me feel this way
I never thought when I saw your face, my heart would bump away
I never thought someone could lift me up when I was down
I never thought someone like you, would ever come around
I never thought someone could be so perfectly perfect for me
I never thought that it could be
I never thought your arm around me would warm me like a blanket
I never thought the wall around my heart would come down, so you could fill it
I never thought someone could take my pain away
I never thought I'd ever be okay
I never thought when I found you, I couldn't have you
I never thought it would ever hurt to be around you
I never thought I'd be broken like this
I never thought I'd ever have to kiss you, our very last kiss
I never thought I'd have to be just your friend
I never thought we would ever have to see our end
