India's beauty

India is my country
My love for it has no boundary

I was a soldier of the country
I fought for the country till we were set free

I did not walk on the streets with fear
I wasn’t satisfied till the streets were clear

India was under the Britisher’s rule
Who would use them like a ‘use and throw tool’

For them Indian music was waste
Because they had no good taste

They made India full of machines and
Also introduced them to the concept of queens

Whoever argued with the britisher’s were killed and
By killing the Indians the Britisher’s were thrilled

If they rested when they were tired
By the Britisher’s they were fired

India had its own beauty
To maintain it, it is the Indians duty

My country lived under control
Freedom fighters fought for India to get it console

India was taken by Britisher’s because of jealousy and
I wasn’t peaceful until I reached my destiny

Finally came the news of freedom which was incredible
For the Indians it sounded a miracle

This news made the Indians amazed
And its beauty was all over praised

Finally came the day when the flag was adjusted and
By the great ones it was hoisted

After the flag was hoisted the national anthem was sung
By everyone, the old and the young

The day 15 Aug, 1947 is an unforgettable memory
Because that day after lots of struggle, all Indians were set free.
