The One
The one who is never seen
They walk right past and belittle her so
The one who is never heard
Who cries and yearns to be loved
Forgotten by the ones who gave her life
Those who hurt with words like a knife
The one who is never healed
Left with scars unseen and a soul that bleeds
She reaches into the dark, to be left alone
Alone in the world
The one who is never seen
The One who sees it all
He gives comfort to those who will call
The One who hears it all
My prayers go up to Him each day and he washes my pain away
The One who Loves
He gave His life to set us free, to be with Him in Eternity
The One who heals
With just one touch my scars are gone
My soul is saved and I am free
Free to love and free to be seen
