Life-Decisions

Fresh out of the system, how obtuse this decision is.
My contemporary choosing my future.
And I still a green banana.

Would the world break!
Slow down time and let me think!
Just for a day, maybe two.

The coming of summer has barely been noticed.
So symbolic of relaxation this time of year is,
But there's no rest for those who ponder over a deadline.

Oh! This heavy boulder will be lifted from me tomorrow evening,
The question is, will I fall with it?
Or wipe the dust off my hands in satisfaction
And walk towards the light.
