Younger Love

We met when we were young,
I was wild and carefree,
You went to school, living with family,
My life was my own full of places to see,

I had a year to relaxe, time to unwind,
You were on vacation and took me back to your home,
You loaned me your room and use of your clothes,
For Christmas we bought your parents robes,

For years after I carried your tattered old comb,
It went with me so far Paris, Rome, Australia, Tokyo,
Now I'll tell you a secret if you keep it discret,
Your shirt that you loaned me,
With the shark and the board,
I still carry it here with me,
Although it probley no longer has your scent,
I wanted your memory and if you ever wanted it back,
The shirt was only lent and that is a fact,

So dig through my guts long after I am dead,
See whats here for you and how long it was kept,
Remeber to check for the bullet that went straight through my head,
There just beside your bed then check your shoulder,
Right where that bullet went but wait till you need to pay rent,
A love born from friendship from a kid who had found doom,
Just a few memories because now I am a witch that swallowed a broom.
