Wishing Oklahoma Well

Cherry tinted late night skies
Coal blackness of its reflection
Caught here in the blueness
Of not being under its light

Leaves me chilly, alone
And yet still under the glare
Of the stone cold images
That tonight carrys me there

Into the night, without a moons rise
Wishing for the injured and frightened
Left in the rubble in Oklahoma all..
Hold faith tommorrows within sight

To those lost may stillness
Carry them away, swiftly to a better place
For now is the time to regain our stance
Try looking forward at another chance
Be glad for another day another glance

Hi there. This is my 1st time reading your work. This was a strong piece, yet sad, for the obvious reasons. I'm definitely wishing/hoping for a quick & painless recovery from the destruction.
