TiMe

Time, you know it just keeps on ticking
But its said will never wait for anybody
What’s yours or mine, all this bickering
And one asks the point of it all really

Though time, they say is of the essence
But then still very little is ever well spent
Words on a great shrine, bare reference
To a particular moment or special event

Time, they say for some peace and love
Again though still very little is invested
Telling one their sublime never enough
Missed opportunity a chance wasted

Time, do we not realise is so precious
Every second ,minute, hour gone so fast!
Just sitting on cloud nine' to it all oblivious
Perhaps living every moment like it's our last

Written by myself davidscott 2015-03-06
