Grandfather

Beautiful memories I have of you
Your instinct to protect the little ones
Those night when the pouring rain and thunder scared us,
you never left our side.

Your stories were like a vivid adventures and better than watching a movie.
Laughter and happiness filled the house.
How much we miss you Grandfather.
How much we miss your voice and seeing you.

Visiting you was better than a vacation else were.
The candy tasted better when you bought it for us.
You are like a hero to our eyes.
With you we had everything even if it was the humble way.

Grandfather you will always me in my heart and soul.
Never shall I forget your advice of wisdom and love.
Your eyes are open and vivid to me like it were yesterday
Your alive to me and time will never set us apart.
