I know I’m not the one for you
And you for me
It cannot be

For I know your love is true
And now I see
It’s not for me

I cannot fall in love again
The words I spoke
The heart she broke

You are more than just a friend
But so was she
She set me free

Tell me now what do I do
Can’t stop the pain
The pouring rain

My thoughts now are all on you
They will not leave
The more I breathe
