On the Wings of a Butterfly
On the wings of a butterfly
With colors
So pleasing to the eye
Daintily floating
On distant dreams
The morning sun light
And the moon beams
Soaring oh so high
I feel so carefree
It’s as though
Nothing can affect me
No worries for today
No pressures on my back
No more of this life
Slipping through the cracks
A just sit back and relax
And watch the days go by
As I face tomorrow
On the wings of a butterfly
