Hole In

There’s a hole in my heart
That appears when you depart
There’s an ache and a burn
That won’t decrease till you return

There’s a hole in my life
When you leave me my wife
My stomach will start to churn
Will not stop till you return

In your passing there will be
A hole in my heart for eternity
One that will never heal
For the loss I will always feel

So how I love to have you here
How I love to hold you near
Feel your love fill up my heart
As it has done from the start

So please always stay near
Don’t cause my heart to fear
For no matter what they say
I will love you till my dying day

This says a lot about the love you have for your wife. A beautiful promise in the last two lines. :) Hope you are having a brilliant week
