Has life somehow passed you by?
Would you like to sit down and cry?
Have people used and abused you
Till the pain makes you boo hoo
Well now’s the time to say no more
Now’s not the time for an encore

Steam Train

When the train gets up a head of steam
It reminds me of a childhood dream
The guards whistle he does blow
So we know that it’s finally time to go
The rhythm of the wheels along the track
Plumes of smoke belching from the stack
Country side goes by seems so slow
That's a ride on a steam train so let's go

In a Pool Of Tears they sit
Alienation won't bring Tears Of Bliss
Anticipation incites thoughtfulness
To bring to sleep Dreams Of Happiness
So when accepted alienated no more
The Hearts Tear Of Joy will weep for sure

When Truth

What happens when truth is lost?
What sort of outcome what the cost
When you can't trust people in power
Lose hold of truth the tower
Will suddenly come crashing down
To hang around their lying crown
The police and politicians corrupt
Their lies smothered so abrupt
Hidden neath a cloak of secrecy
This is not the way that it should be

You’re Fooling

You’re fooling no one but you
You pretend to be something you're not
You’re fooling no one but you
You hide hoping you'll be forgot
You’re fooling no one but you
Trying to be clever is not your style
You’re fooling no one but you
Never trying to smile
Why don't you be you?
The one we all know as loyal and true
