Life

SOMEONE HAS BORN HERE,
SOMEONE IS DIEING;
SOMEONE IS HAPPY HERE,
SOMEONE IS CRYING.

SOMEONE HAS ENOUGH MONEY,
SOMEONE HAS NOTHING;
SOMEONE IS GAINING HERE,
SOMEONE IS LOSING.

SOMEONE IS ENJOYING HERE,
SOMEONE IS FIGHTING;
SOMEONE HAS ONLY DARKNESS,
SOMEONE HAS LIGHTING.

SOMEONE IS DREAMING HERE,
SOMEONE IS SHATTERED;
SOMEONE EAT ONLY BREAD,
SOMEONE WITH BUTTER.

SOMEONE HAS A FAMILY,
SOMEONE HAS NO ONE;
SOMEONE IS IN SAD CONDITION,
SOMEONE IS IN FUN.

STRANGE THIS WORLD,
MORE STRANGE THIS LIFE;
TO LEAD THIS LIFE HERE,
WE ALL HAVE TO SURVIVE.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Dear Nisath- A great and powerful poem on the human condition. It is a game of tug of war...some have, some do not...then the tables turn...topsy turvy again...in the hour of our Lord...what is fair will be fair! Goodness and mercy to you. Gwendolen
