The Reason

The reason I'm living
The reason I'm dying
The reason I'm happy
The reason I'm lying

I'm alive to nurture
I'm alive to give
I'm alive to comfort
I'm alive just to live

I'm dying from sadness
I'm dying from sores
I'm dying from illness
I'm dying for more

I'm happy to rise
I'm happy to fall
I'm happy when he is
I'm not happy at all

I'm lying to protect
I'm lying on a whim
I'm lying to forget
I'm lying just for him
