Losers In Vancouver

Canada, land of good
manners, polite people
until we lose the Cup
and angry crowds of testosterone
go wild
burn cars and porta-potties
hurl bottles, bricks,
street signs and threats
at lines of riot masks
and batons ready
for adrenaline
almost as high
as that elusive win

After the Olympics, I was so proud to be a Canadian and was shocked by this recent shameful display over losing a hockey game. Wonderful writing, Jen. Love, Elaine

Anyhoo, I'm left baffled, too. Good write this. Just sucks you had this subject to write about at all...Hi from Cyndi From Ontario, Born in Montreal...Home of the Habs...
