Part of the Machine

I have a pill to slow my heart
beat until I'm calm and serene.

I have another to make me happy,
it keeps my thoughts squeaky clean.

I have a tablet to slow my mind
and give me respite in sleep.

I have another to keep me balanced,
reasonable and keen.

Oh where would I be without these
cogs, making me part of the Machine.
