Precious Moments
From our first breath, we cry
Alerting others to new life.
Time passes and growth occurs.
With growth comes change, but
Change has many meanings;
Each one different person to person.
Memories are created regardless if
Happiness or sadness is what created
Them; they are precious moments
That sprout a new bud yet to bloom
In the sunlight of a new day.
Days pass and each have precious
Moments for they remain until we
Take our last breath to be replaced
By another new life yet to sprout
and bloom.
