The Darkest Night

Darkest Night blinds my sight.
Breeze of cold chills my soul.
When day breaks, I will weep.
Because the Darkest Night is when I sleep.

Moon will shine by some design.
Protecting all, keeping us in line.
Power it emits beauty to all.
Time I love most is when night falls.

The day means nothing it isn’t real.
That’s because it hasn't learned how to feel.
The Darkest Night now that’s a sight.
The Darkest Night is when I feel right.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
