And then it creeps in...
not how you'd think but it creeps in as though through the cracks of a door... 
slowly it feels it's surrounding... 
becomes familiar... 
knows your weakness and that moment you think your safe..
soundly sleeping in your bed...
no cares in the world's it's like it knew you and all the things you couldn't say 
because in that moment it hits you like a million gallons of water crashing 
down on you...  
it hits you.. and holds you there...
from all corners of the room your eyes frantically search and search for it 
and now these claws are scraping at your skin and still your eyes search. 
Ur screams muffled by the weight pounding down on you.. 
and still it hits you...   
There is no love without pain... 
no life without sorrow... 
no joy without consequences. . .
And so when you least expect it.. 
It hits you
