Lament of Love

-Verse One-
Here I am without you
Inside this empty home
Your not there to greet me
I'll live my life alone

My life is not redeeming
Cause without you, I will try
To live a life without a meaning
I'd move on, but I'd rather die

-Bridge-
I'm so empty
I've grown so hollow
My actions have killed me
I'm destined to die alone

-Chorus-
If to live is to die
Then to love is to leave
If to learn means to try
Then I'm willing to bleed

If I lose you I won't try
To take another breath
To live without my life
Would surely mean my death

-Verse Two-
Here I am without the light
Inside this empty shell
You're not anywhere in sight
I'll live in my own hell

My life has no meaning
Without you, I swear I'll die
I can feel my heart breaking
Staying the same for all of time

-Bridge-
I'm so empty
I've grown so hollow
My actions have killed me
I'm destined to die alone

-Chorus-
If to live is to die
Then to love is to leave
If to learn means to try
Then I'm willing to bleed

If I lose you I won't try
To take another breath
To live without my life
Would surely mean my death

-Chorus Two-
If to live is to love
Then to die is to leave
Ive learned the truth to this
No longer being deceived

If I lost you I would die
Never take another breath
I've become a part of you now
Without you would mean death

-Outro-
Attached at the heart
These days never rest
We'll never be apart
Not even after death

I like how the rhymes flow in this one. The short lines in the verses make the song flows very well. Welcome to poetry Soup and keep writing. Blessings, Joseph
