Anxiety

Like cancer, it eats away
Can't push it down, feel the fray.
Heart pounding and racing
Akin, to never endless chasing.
Lack of air, can't catch my breath
Agony that feels so close to death.
Plethora of fuel from every direction
Souls destruction, it's simple intention.
Eroding all else away,
Succeeding, itself all that's left to stay.
