My Type
My type is the pretty boys
Not the pretty as in they look good
No the pretty as in they are an amazing person who everyone loves
The type of person every little girl spends the night dreaming of
My type is the boys with pretty eyes
Eyes that sparkle and shine
My type is the boys with pretty smile
A smile that glows and doesn’t seem to have a design
My type is the boys I know I can never last with
The type that I know won’t end in a happy storybook ending
Where the princess runs away and cries
Where the story doesn’t end in a happy wedding
My type is the boys that I know will eventually break my heart
Because if I know it will happen it won’t hurt as much when it eventually comes
The type where they say “I love you” then go date your best friend
The type that says they are head over heels for you but 24 hours later breaks your heart.
My type is the boys who seem sweet
But I know, it is not the final story
And are not my allegory
