Wondering/Doubting

I wonder all the time
If we were meant to be
The world is so crazy
and my eyes are so hazy
I can not see

Nor do I want to look upon that face
And feel the feelings I cant erase

I want you but I don’t
I feel the passion burning on my skin
Yet at the same time
I’m a icicle within

All the voices in my mind
Swirl and twirl
And combined

Some say to stay with you
The man I always knew

Others say to leave
What you’ve done is to harsh for me

I fancy you
And cannot stand your presence

Is this the love I dreamed of
Or just a sad rollercoaster filled with shattered dreams

And whose destroying them
Is it you?
Or is it me?

So I’ll stay and wonder
And I’ll doubt
Is this what true love is about
