Slick

"I don't want a cat", I told Slick,
But her usual style was to trick.
So I went to the door,
Finding outside one more,
Being denied which cat to pick.

This poem is dedicated to my former sister-in-law.

I'm wondering if she's former because of that kind of behavior or if something bad happened. There's always more to the story when a limerick is the delivery vehicle.
