My Man

The curves of your lips are laced with stories untold
The light in your eyes is lined with a love that is bold
The touch of your skin coated with a soul that is kind
The glow in your face displays your intelligent mind

You dance and you sing while you get lost in the mood
Streams of girls follow after and get pitifully wooed
They laugh and they flatter and will build you up high
While we wait for an entrance that is ever more nigh

No false flattery or loving will part from me in words
My feelings are held in my stomach of fluttering birds
The beaming smile on my face is a reflection of yours
While each jumping heart beat takes up flight and soars

Your not my soul mate, true love or my secret affair
Your the person who stole my mask and showed me bare
With your help I learned how to find my real inner me
In return I'll always be here for you, just wait and see
