The Lions Mystery
The Lions Mystery-
I live in the moment for tomorrow may not come,
I let you reside in the depths of my heart
long ago covered by plated chain,
As Jupiter eclipses the rising sun I'm blinded by your presence,
I've heard your voice anew, I lift my head and breathe you in,
I'll be close as a crow flies soon to put to rest my crown and crest,
To drop my armor and pray the archer flies high an arrow,
For I live in the moment and am dangers friend,
Fly arrow Fly,
The time you soar I'm bold to roar in calm pursuit to see the hunters quiver,
If it's empty I'll know the threat is gone,
The time for fun was just a shiver,
Nock another and be ready for I crouch slow and steady,
Draw it back... pull me in... the feelings are connected,
Let loose if you choose to lure the lions cling,
For I lie in wait to hear it fly as your fingers slip the string,
I run close so nock one more to touch the lions mystery,
It's in my heart but through my eyes is the only way to see,
Draw it back...pull me in...
I pounce quick grab my mane,
Don't let loose but stand fast as Jupiter slips the Sun,
Two hunters connected eyes locked in war for neithers battle is won.
