Vulnerability

Oh, the beauty found in this tender race,
When walls crumble, revealing its truest face,
With all the wrinkles in its right place
The raw, the fragile, and all the flaws we'll come to learn to love more.

But to crack the armor, to lay it bare,
To let the world in, to show we care,
We must surrender, trust and embrace,
The vulnerability of our soul with grace.

For vulnerability is not a sign of weakness,
But a testament of strength and meekness,
Through where the light shines through,
Revealing in its essence, the authentic you.

For when we open the chambers of our heart,
When we allow it to play its part,
We invite others to do the same,
To share their stories without shame.

In vulnerability, there lies power untold.
To heal, to connect, to break through the mold,
For it takes courage to be truly known,
To let your heart's melody in the fold

So, let the tears flow, let the laughter ring,
Let it be the song we sing,
For in the depths of our soul,
Lies the beauty of the unknown.

Pour your heart out, wanderer of life,
Let vulnerability be your compass, your guide,
For it is in sharing the depths of our soul,
That we find connections that make us whole.

I find so much truth in your words, Luciana, allowing ourselves to be vulnerable is a sign of strength and confidence and not a sign of weakness. I'm sure those going through a rough time will find their strength in this verse. I hope all is well with you. John
