The Story of My Scar

Upon my skin a a mark remains,
My scar, a mark of my history,
a scar that tells tale, of a moment in my life,
a story etched upon my skin,
a memory of pain and Victory,
a reminder of where I've been,
 That left me feeling frail,

It happened in the flash,
a the sudden burst of pain,
and in that moment I knew,
my life would never be the same,
each line tells the tale of the struggle,
of the battles fought and won,
of the wounds that healed but left a mark,
of strength and courage that I've shown,
my scar is a sign of memory,
showing I've been hurt and have healed,

It speaks of moments of weakness,
when life dealt a heavy blow,
the wound was deep and raw,
and the healing took its time,
as I watched it slowly mend,
I found strength Sublime,
also my my resielence as,
I rose and refused to let go,

For every time I looked at the scar on my skin,
my scar was a symbol of my journey,
a badge of honour, won with pride,
I was reminded of my courage,
 I found deep within,
 trials I have faced,
 and the person I've become.

So I wear my scar with dignity,
 I learned to be brave,
and let my scar be a source of light,
and face my fears head on,
 never give up hope,
 and keep on keeping on,

though it maybe small,
that scar upon my skin; invisible or visible,
tells the story of my past,
and the beauty of my fight,
it holds the story of my strength,
and the battles that I've won,
most massive characters are seared with scars,
It's the scars on the warrior that tell the victories,
That is the story of my scar.

Thanks for sharing this. God bless you. Meanwhile, I greet you with a Joyous New Year with this prayer from the Bible in Numbers 6:24-26, "The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."
