Forbid Me To Be

Forbid me,
O Love,
To kiss the cup of violence 

Forbid me
To hug the warmth of hate

Forbid me
To sleep with an intoxicated vengeance 

Forbid me,
O Love,
To judge others according to self-beliefs 

Forbid me
To be the scorching sun of summer

Forbid me
To be the loveless moonlit night

Let me be your love,
Let me be the peace
Where all creations find the address of their creator
