work in progress

Because paris took Helen
Menelaus wanted to kill ‘em
Thus started the war
Ten years; hardcore

Menelaus then went to his brother
Told Agamemnon to get his troops and others.
That a war was to be had between troy and Sparta
Figured they would win; on their side was Hera

He called on all of Greek
The biggest army ever, EEEK!!!
To name a few;
	Cephallenians, Danaans, and the myrmidons
and all the men from Anthedon.

Over 50,000 men, to fight for one man’s greed
Eventually a win they would have, indeed.
A month’s journey over the water
To fight an army, brothers and father.

Troy was now in sight
It was time for a fight

Ten ships sailed towards the beach
500 men; 50 on each.
Ships with coal black sails.
It was Achilles

They fought for the beach of troy
All that was there, got destroy’.
For the men were the myrmidons
And no one is stronger

For nine years they fought
By now home was just a thought
Many had died from spear,
Arrows, swords and a plague with no cure

The Achaeans wanted to give up
For this war, they had enough
Until one gloomy day,
In battle, young boy dead he lay.
