Looking Out For The Spark

I stand at the top on the outskirts of town
I see windmills turning over and round
Remember driving cars and burning rubber in fields
Those days in the summer were times that we killed
Now I love the city but the city looks dark
We spend our days looking out for the spark

You miss the cinema and those picturesque books
Those gorgeous girls and their telephone hooks
Remember stealing milk from suburban door steps
Those nights in the winter you'll never forget
Now I love the city but the city looks dark
We spend are days looking out for the spark
