THE WAY

When our eyes met, It hit me like a train. Took my breath, like jumping from a plane. I thought it could not get any better. I would do anything to just forget her. She was the brightest shining star. She came with a new deck of cards. In love there are no guarantees. I found her and I lost me. These are the darkest of days. She was going through some phase. Love can turn your angels to devils. It wrecks you on all levels. My heart will never heal. This pain is all I will ever feel. It was the way, she said hello. It was the way, She had to go.
