Blood
Do you feel
Trapped
By the blood
You hold
Holds you
Like a cage
Every year
You grow
It opens
Thinking you’re free
But shuts
In your face
The cage grows smaller
When you in it
But it leads two path
You break free
Or you wither away
Blood is so exhausting
To believe in
Cause one day

They will leave
Like everyone else
And yet you wonder
The cost of something
