Necessity
was it necessary doing so much sleuthing?
was i the culprit or the accusing?
i would have gave explanation of what was done,
but instead you left and our story never begun.
was it necessary to make everything look so scary?
were I possesed by some ghost or a normal human on the contrary?
i would have made sure everything fits well
if you would have given me a chance to dwell.
was it necessary to leave me on a cliffhanger?
were I not being sincere or you couldn't see my sincerity in that anger?
i would have proved my love to you,
but you just went and believed the taboo.
was it so necessary to humiliate me in the worst way possible?
weren't you the one who said that my shine is humongous and unstoppable?
i would have made it to the top if you were here,
now all I could think..oh hell I can't even think clear.
was it necessary to love me for the reason you left?
weren't you the one who said we will never discuss the past?
i was keen to hear and talk about it as it would have made me feel close to you,
never thought you'll react like that and will tell me to withdrew
wasn't that necessary to ask or discuss the events that actually happened?
weren't I being considerate when I discussed your past?
my words weren't meant to enter the dreadful thoughts you had,
you made it look like everything was already planned.
Hope you're satisfied by putting me down,
Making you look heroic but all you do is frown,
Made a show out of every life you knew and then you abscond,
Responding you would be way beneath me and beyond.
