Eventually Everybody Leaves

At a point,
We are all going to pick our glasses,
Say cheers to each other and finally leave the table.
No matter how cheered you were at that moment,
A part of you somewhere in that heart
May find it hard to come to the acceptance of the fact that
“Eventually everybody leaves”
Varying reasons as to why they leave...
Definitely in pursuit of that something this table cannot offer
Blood had to leave my table in search of greener pastures
You may have destructions to yours too
Well, I sipped my last wine with them and we departed
As I write, I have not been able to pay the bill
It’s costly!??
Friends have joined my table now
With time, I know they will have to go too
Left with me, they stay a little longer
However, I cannot fill them with just liquor or wine
When they need to be green too.
The only power I have got here is
To live in the moment and make the memories.
So,
Before Tommy becomes eager to leave the country
Can we just spend quality time?
Sipping fine wine and taking pictures
Before he decides to ghost!
