You Weren'T There

I know you weren't there to see
Brandon have a son
But we love you anyway
We know you're in a better place
I know you weren't there
To see the sky turn gray
When it was a rainy day
But we love you anyway
We know you're in a better place
I know you weren't there
To see my face When I got my car
On my 16th birthday
But it's okay I love you anyway
I know you're in a better place
I know you weren't there to see
Alot of our memories
But I know where you will be
In our hearts forever
And that will never change

I am the original post of this poem. My name now Thomas due to marriage and forgot all my previous login info. I appreciate the love for my poetry I wrote it for my grandmother that passed away in July of 2005. She was my best friend and I miss her dearly!
