You Deserve

You have friends;
You have families;
And you have a lot of relatives
But you don't have love as you need
You don't have attentions as you wished.

You have dreams to pursue;
Dreams that you want to be true;
And dreams that you want to be come true.
But you never been cared,
You have never been trusted,
And you don't feel the feelings you want to feel.

You have never feel happiness
'Cause your heart is filled with sadness
You feel that all by yourself you were betrayed
All you want is happiness
But they can't give you one
All you want is love
But they love someone else more than you

Your life is useless, meaningless, and colorless
To the point that you want to take a rest
You are nothing but a nobody---a useless nobody
But I know that you know----that you may don't deserve their love;
You may don't deserve their care;
And may don't deserve their trust
Because you deserve someone else better.

I loved your last line, "because you deserved someone else BETTER". We hold on to those that hurt us too often. There is truth in being honest with ourselves. We can only control us. Ty. I enjoyed this one.

I believe these things are felt very deeply, the love for yourself will settle the unsettled.

That's a lovely poem and one that I can feel empathy with, not for myself but someone I know well, Kind regards, Kevin x
