Shattered

                     Shattered

Can people not see the shattered soul inside of me
The silent cries and the scream for love
No prayers or lyrics can fix me back whole
The plea falls on deaf ears

Am I waiting on a higher power
Whoever this mighty concept may be
Is his reach so powerful that I will never get

compassion, companionship
love from my children and grandchildren acceptance, forgiveness And finally peace...

Was I a sinner in another life...

So I never wanna go back there

But don’t leave me here

Just take me somewhere else
