Basketball is the greatest sport
You get to dribble up and down the court
A shot here
A block there
The shotclock goes out
The crowd starts to shout
Don't be a fool and bring this game to shame
Because basketball is the greatest game

I looked at the mirror consioucly
Pondering the world beyond
Wondering how I came to this place
And where I would travel next
I looked at the mirror bravely
for there lay a scar on my face
I slashed right down my face
And split it in two
Not only splitting my face but my soul too
The night soon engulfed me
The room could no longer be seen
Yet somehow
Somehow
I could still see my scar
I wondered
Has this scar marked me?
Marked me for life?
Or is it there as a symbol
A symbol of my history maybe
Feeling vulnerable on the inside
But strong on the out
I lived each day like an outcast about.
