Romeo and Juliet

That my mind flies
On the wings of Pegasus
O behold thy gentle sweetness
That brings notes of sweet charity

If one should find the shadow of warmth
It lies in your brilliant presence
The eons of time should mark such liberty
As to find your delightful willingness

Must it be I for kindling thy warmth
And create in it a world
Such that would live forever
In the ire of loves labor

For doth thou  speak gently
Inspiring a bolt of heavens glory
In it I doth dwell
To find the flames of thy passion.

Freedom

Victory borne out of mud and sweat
        Hath restored mankind
         From the depths of despair
        To the tolls of liberty

        Hark now the sweet melody
        Of sweet honour and justice
From the strains of a Robin
        Now amidst dead silence

        For the moments lingered over
         The distant sounds
Which were once filled with death
       Are now resilient

     It's time to celebrate
       A new decree
    Of blissful peace and harmony
Trumpets blast over land and sea

       Echoing the joy of rebirth
A new era a new life
      Leaving behind the past
For now its glory unto the last.

John Young

Tall and thin without a doubt
Young Johnny's all about
bound with tons of energy
Like a proud prodigy

Numbers he did count Willy nilly
Even when astride a filly
Jumping quick across a wall
All because he had the gall

Words came to him at five
Like flies to a bee hive
Rocks he stored and notes he wrote
Words of wisdom he did smote

One day while running across the Heather
He did find a beautiful feather
A warning wind stole across
But he was so engrossed

It grew dark and cloudy
And the gale blew loudly
Heavens poured and lightning struck
When he saw the wild buck

Grasping all his wit
He drew closer to it
Finding it in a hole
He released it s leg in the pole

Thus went Johnny on and on
Wet and cold he rode anon
And from this day that hap
He rode with a feather in his cap.

A Desert Song

A desert song

             One day in Arizona
               Trod a girl named Fiona
Her flock she led towards a pool
to find a drink sublime and cool

All day she walked with head held high
              Beneath the big blue sky
The ray's of the sun beat
                 But she did not retreat

On and on she did escort
                through the desert hot
And down the creek they went
                Never forgetting their intent

                 But alas they soon befell
What fate would call a spell
                  For reasons not being plain
                   They never returned again

Prayer

Prayer
      King Darius the great
Bring to me what's in my fate

      In this life
      withstanding strife

For if I deserve the best
Let it be in your quest.

Teen Love

Teen love

   If love conspires
   Bring my love to me
   Her face bathed in moonlight
   To my utmost delight

     If love swells
     Like the ocean
     Bringing her at night
     In Sweet tide

     If love grows strong
     Calling her name
     While it echoes
      In the shallows
    .
     .If love endures
      Carrying with it
      Sublime sweet agony
..To cast its spell upon me.

Ode To Life

Ode to life
As I sought the sapling
Laying it deep within the soil
And tending to its needs
I felt the divine light on me
Watching it everyday

As the clouds passed
And cast their shadow
In sweet bewilderment
Within its infinite summit
I felt the divine light on me
Watching it everyday.

Flocks of sheep strolling the hills
Beneath the boughs of lustrous leaves
The wind blowing in the distance
Causing dry leaves to float
I felt the divine light on me
Watching it everyday.

The steeple rises above darkened roofs
The pigeons swarming to find seed
Cars and buses bustling by
As dawn streaks the sky
I felt the divine light on me
Watching it everyday.

After the ravages of the day
Till dusk adorns itself
The orchestra of lives
Until the cloak of dark settles
I felt the divine light on me
Watching it every day

The echo of receding murmurations
Intertwined in the abyss of waterfalls
Reconciled in the mist of time
Searching a new destination
I felt the divine light
Watching it everyday.

As scented roses fill the air
And dew drops bring the
Promise of a new morrow
Each blade looks to light
I feel the divine light
Watching it every day.

The Harbinger

Cast by a shadow
            So dark and fierce
       As the cavern below
           Pulling its course rapidly

          Of spirit vent to infinity
            Calling its echo infinite
          The hollow to its serenity
             Pulling its course rapidly

            When cast to surrender
            It follows in treble hold
            sacrosanct to engender
            Pulling its course rapidly

            What heavens forbid
Yet it holds tightly its grip
                In graves morbid
            Pulling its course rapidly

June Showers

The gentle stir in the winds
       The rustle of the blinds
       The shifting clouds
        I remember you.

       The slight drizzle
         That hath no bridle
         The raindrops on the trees
         I remember you

         The showers from above
          That falls over my alcove
The sweet smell of soft earth
             I remember you.

True Love

How true is love
 In the morning breeze
 Whence stirs the leaves
And sings the bird amidst willows

How true is love
When she weaves
Her fingers slipping
Between the threads

How true is love
When he to his
Darling debates
Calling out her name in the distance

How true is love
Glancing in the mirror
Catching a glimpse
Of beauty beholden

How pure is love
Born out of desire
Fondling it's fire
Waiting for it to kindle
