Forever You Will Be

No matter where you are
No matter how far
Remember I will always be there
Just wish upon a star

Life is a journey
One to be lived
Let the spirits guild us
Where ever we live

Take the gamble
Never regret
The sun will always shine
If we just let it in

Nothing is for sure
How could it be?
Just know in my heart
Forever you will be

A Distant Memory

The wind echo's through the trees,
As the smell of new beginnings fills the air.
In the distance the ocean dances to and thru,
It's sweet caress luring a happy but tired soul.
The clouds speak many stories,
Some sad, some happy,
While the sun kissed sky smiles down.
The heat of the sand beckons,
As I lay for just one minute.
Minutes turn to an hour,
The beauty surrounding me will not let go.
I don't want to forget this moment,
Of unexplained freedom.
Forever buried deep inside,
A memory that means nothing,
And yet means the world

A Reflection Into the Past

A reflection into the past,

Of all the good times shared,

Many heart felt conversations,

When there were no barriers there.

A glimpse into the present,

A few words to and fro,

How did we get to this point?

A great wall is lingering there.

I take each moment as it comes,

No point thinking too deep,

The past seems so unreal,

Was it a time you could not bare?

I have changed in more ways then one,

A rare diamond in the rough,

My worth is known to me now,

What others think I truly don't care.

Chase no more is what I live,

For that is not my worth,

Meet me half way or no way,

Or is there really a secret there?

I am what I am,

And willing to accept who you are,

No matter what is unsaid,

I will always be there.

Friends first and foremost,

It once felt so rare,

Do you choose to be so distant?

For the unknown is too much to bare?

I understand more then even you know,

Because I feel it too,

What ever will be will be,

Just known I will always love you!!

These 4 Walls

These 4 walls,
This sacred home,
Once full of joy,
Echoes sweet bitterness
of times gone by.
The paranoid confusion,
The mad mistrust
Lock everything up.
Nothing is secret,
My life is mine,
But still she rips through it,
Questions that shouldn't be answered,
That shouldn't be asked,
Where did she go?
A once loving person,
Now only a shadow in the dark,
Sometimes peeping through the curtains,
Trusting not even those who are blood,
Throwing road blocks on the ground,
Don't ever leave,
Never move on in life,
I will destroy what I have to,
Even if it means losing the ones I love,
she whispers
How can anyone break free?
Where do you turn to?
A baby cries but she doesn't answer,
That’s not mine,
She hisses,
I have done all I can.
Everyone is out to get me,
Do you not see?
The walls grow taller,
Two steps back,
But how many more to take?
This wasn't meant to happen;
It should be a happy home!!!!

Guiding Me Into the Night

I cry these tears of pain,
But no one is here to stop the rain,
With all the confusion I hurt inside,
All alone I feel something has died.

I miss the touch of your skin,
I miss those silly moods get in,
I miss the taste of your lips,
I miss the feel of your kiss.

Many times I have pushed away the pain,
For the last thing I want is to go insane,
A moment of weakness I want to ignore,
For this is something I don’t want to explore.

As the tide flows down my face,
I seriously wish I could leave this place,
One more moment with you is all I ask,
But in reality it is a big task.

Nothing in life is ever simple,
If only it were like popping a pimple (hehehehe)
For all the choices that we make,
I could never think it was a mistake.

The moments we shared will stay in my heart,
A connection I felt from the start,
To put it simple you are my light,
Guiding me into the night

Misunderstood

A soul lost, drifting in the wind,
Distance memories echoing a pushed away past,
Take strong hold of a lonely mind.

Visions and smells clouding,
Pain consuming, dancing, mocking,
With a deep breath they trample onwards.

Pulling down the blinds to the confusion,
The bitterness, the anger, the loneliness,
Voices of past lovers, friends, enemies engulf.

Resentment thrown back and forward,
No one is to blame.

The armor has taken over,
Soldiering on to the beat of a drum,
Every waking moment is a lie.

The smile blankets the truth,
Taken as blase, detached, cold
Deep down lost in the darkness.

No where to turn to,
Misunderstood!

A hand reaches out,
Offering friendship and understanding,
Comforting, loving, encouraging.

No judgments made,
Some peace is found,
A smile of appreciation,
One simple gesture,
Can mean so much!
