School and Me

School I must attend
For knowledge so they say
The key to life is education
So in class I paid attention

After years had passed
It was time I got tested
I sat for my examination
Doing best with determination

Results! Results! Results!
I heard after a few months

Disaster! Disaster! Disaster!
My efforts were a total failure

My relationship became a mess
And my friends cared less
Parents said I was a disgrace
For I had lost my golden chance

Though my faith was shaken
And my heart was broken
I promised to strive
In this world to survive

At me they laughed
And said no where will I reach
That my dreams were now dead
And merely just things I preach

“You are just a laughing stock”
They say and they mock
But I work hard around the clock
Knowing I’ll find my own flock.

I tried hard to be strong
Searching where I went wrong
Clinging and holding on
What my heart desired so long

Beware!
Life is a journey
You have to find your own way.

Whether you stumble and fall
Whether you leap or crawl
Deep in your heart you know
As your humble efforts grow
You shall reap what you sow!

Painted Smile

Between our laughter,
My thoughts froze.
How could we all laugh,
Till our eyes closed?

I ask myself,
Are our lives perfect without mischief?
And just then I realize,
I am walking amidst painted smiles.

He Loved, She Did Too

He spoke in languages,
She has never heard,
Loved her in ways,
She didn't understand.

He dreamed of her at night,
Sparkling like diamond light,
Concquering his lonely heart,
With a mere touch he got.

He saw them together,
Walking under the moonlight,
Calling her his lover,
Kissing under the lamppost.

All he ever knew,
Was praise this one girl,
Even with words so few,
He could get her heart to whirl.

He was filled with hope,
That she felt the same way,
So he decides to call her up,
And comfessed on that day.

She turned the other way,
Not because she didn't care,
Nor didn't she want to stay,
But because they didn't belong together.

He felt so much pain,
Knowing she will never be his,
Knowing she is forever gone,
Gone to love someone else.

So he gathered all his strength,
To write all he ever felt,
And swore to his last breath,
Never again to get hurt.....

Could He Be My Romeo

Could he be my knight in shining armor,
Perhaps my guardian angel or savior?
I can be his Juliet, could he be my Romeo?

Could he make me feel the butterflies inside,
Make me numb and find breathing hard?
I could be his beauty, can he be my beast?

Could he keep my heart beating and racing,
Make me feel that love chemistry burning?
I could be Cinderella, could he be prince charming?

We could be all this and all that,
We could be deeply in love at heart,
But could he be my hero for all eternity?

A Painful Pleasure

Sparkles and fireworks,
Heat and electricity,
Am under too many spells.
With such proximity,
Trembles and whimpers,
Am lost in a foreign city.

Touches and kisses,
We groan and moan,
Barely recognised voices.
Embraces and caresses,
My heart is on loan,
Mixed feelings and emotions.

Fingers and nails,
Digging deep into flesh,
My skin against his.
Pull and push,
Legs splayed wide,
Am not getting enough.

Laughter and cries,
A painful pleasure,
Pure without any lies.
Sighs and breaths,
Hot like mantle core,
Deep within its depths.

Still Hope

She makes him suffer, yet pretend to care.
Its' not like am judging her,
But she doesn't deserve such a stunner.

We all know too well, she plays the good girl.
And for her she fell,
The poor thing believing it all.

Now the truth he knows,
To accept it he tries,
But still fails to realize,
She won't stop the lies.

He tolerates all the humiliation,
Avoiding petty confrontation,
Waiting and hoping in confusion,
Maybe her demons will slow their motion.

When We Fell In Love

Dreams built on our love,
Beautiful than anything we ever had.
Hope of an undying true love,
Falling in love today like we never had,
Fruits of what we shared and called love,
Never seemed to cease whatever we had.
Pretty little story of our so called love,
Everlasting joy and all that we had.

Illusions don’t seem to have any place,
Just this fantasy we turned to reality.
The outside world has no place,
Just you and I are the only reality.
We walk and run but keep up the pace,
‘Ts me and you in this for eternity,
Just like always together we embrace,
This little truth that we both want to stay.

I Glorify Thee

Tonight lets sing hallelujah
Couse its so beautiful to praise him
Let us fill our souls with songs
And our hearts with words
Not just words
But words of thanksgiving and praise
For tonight we glorify his mighty name.

Yes i say mighty is his name
He who is truly holly
Worthy in each and every way
Deserving all the glory
Him we will gratify and lift high.

As we worship him alone
We shall all bow down
Dwell in his heavenly presence
And worship his holiness
In spirit and not pretense
For todays grace we shall embrace.

Come all nations come
Silence ur own adversaries
Disarm ur known and unknown enermies
And dissipate all their armies
With voices of worship and praise
And beautifully beat drums.

Tonight we shall worship no other
Than lord our fortress and deliverer
Giver and provider of all power
Our buckler, tower and saviour
He is our shield and strength
We shall honor till our last breath.

Broken Heart

I felt everything and all,
Without a single doubt.
It's never gonna be well,
It's only gonna hurt.

And my heart wont heal,
It will only break apart.

The more i try harder,
The more he cares less.
So i search what we share,
But it's no more than a mess.

I try to rebuild the laughter,
Sadly, only to find it amiss.

Ooh how unfortunate,
To feel nothing than hate,
Betrayal from your mate,
Destruction by your own fate.

Ooh how cruel this love is,
Stings more than the bees,
Burdens more than any sorrows,
The saddest of my love stories.

The Vow

You are my today,
And all of my tomorrow.
No matter what come may,
Nothing will take us below.
You were my princess,
Now and forever my queen.
I was your prince,
Now and always your king.
With honor i take your hand,
Never let go till we grey and old.
With love by you I'll stand,
Till we die if not the so called end.
Everyday I'll fall for you again and again,
For eternity I'll love you and you alone.
