"i Remember"

I remember the first time,
You came to my house,
All we did was sit on the couch.
We sat and held hands and watched my little sister dance.
I don't know about you,
But I had fun,
Welcome to my life,
It's day number one!
The second day you came,
We sat and we talked,
Then my little brother asked you to go play basketball.
It was dark outside,
And it had just finished raining,
You fell in my pond,
And spent most of the night complaining.
I don't guess I can blame you,
I'd probably feel the same,
If I were soak 'n wet,
On my second "date".
You had to borrow my dad's pants,
which of course were way too small,
Quite frankly I think we both agree,
That they didn't fit at all.
I don't know if all of this you recall,
But on "date" number two,
I had a ball.
Over the next couple of months,
It seemed you had become,
A BIG part of my family,
For you were my first love.
We have a lot of memories,
We had a lot of fun,
But once again I'm only one.
Now that you're free again,
I have one question I'd like to ask...
Is your love for me held within?...
Or do you wish to keep your freedom,
which you finally have at last.

"a Trip Down Memory Lane"

Coors Lite, Food Fight,
My bros dirt bike, and kisses good night,
Orangutan Sex, "I give it a ten"
Billy Bob and Bacon, his little pig friend.
In the dark playin' basketball,
Don't forget about Niagra Falls.
What kind of hips do you want?
It seems we can't agree,
Candy Shop, PDA, A BIG mouthful of me.
Varsity Blues, The "I Love You's"
Makin' Cookies that look like pancakes,
But all of these things just lead to a heartbreak.

This poem is for Terry Bell!
He was my first "true love".
We aren't together now,
But I still Love him.
Let's face it...
I ALWAYS will!

Billy the Kid

A cold-blooded killer or a kind hearted man,
Searching for justice with a gun in his hand
He escaped many times indeed he did,
He is known as Billy the Kid

A charming young man, with a heart-breaking smile,
He rode across the desert, he rode many miles.
He is known for the things that he did,
He is known as Billy the Kid

Chased by lawmen, bandits, and thieves,
Billy is dead now and many are relieved,
Shot by Pat Garrrett, his so-called friend
Murdered and betrayed, enemies in the end

Could history be wrong?
A lie have been told,
Could Billy have died at ninety years old,
In a small town in Texas, a place called Hico

Brushy Bill Roberts,
A man growing old,
Stories of his life,
Many have been told

He claims a life of killing,
A life of revenge,
He wants to be pardoned,
He is nearing his end

"Do you have any proof that you are who you say?"
Does Billy the Kid still live today?

These questions were asked,
By an attorney of law,
Then Brushy revealed his scars,
Many wounds he saw

The truth has been told,
It's finally out,
Was Brushy "The Kid?"
I have no doubt

Your Little Brown Car

The first time I saw you,
In that little brown car,
To be honest,
I didn't think it would get you very far.
But you were just so proud,
And I didn't want to be mean,
The fact of the matter is,
I just didn't like the dumb thing.
It wasn't 'cuz it was a Toyota,
Or the fact that it was old,
But you were driving way too fast...
Or so I was told.
Then one day you showed up,
And said the car had rolled.
It really freaked me out,
And it really made me think,
What if something happened, and he was gone in a blink?
Then finally I realized,
That you would be alright,
'cuz I hoped and prayed to God,
To watch you every night.
You started leaving your car,
So you could stay a little longer,
Then I began to like your "Turd-mobile"
And my love for you grew stronger.
You started coming every day,
The funniest thing though I thought,
Was that parts of your car fell in my driveway,
And now half your car I've got.
But then you sold your little car,
It's down by Maplewood Lake,
And now I miss seeing your car,
In the morning when I wait,
for the bus to come and pick me up,
And take me to the school.
But now that we're apart,
That little car is locked up,
In a small room in my heart.
I'd do anything to have it,
In my driveway again someday,
And to have you love me once again,
In the very same way.

"thinking of You"

Sitting here, thinking of you,
And all the things we used to do.
It makes me happy, it makes me sad,
But when it came to feeling loved,
You're all I ever had.
Sure we argued, Yeah we fought,
But even through the hard times,
I feel you're all I've got.
I sit alone, 'cuz now you're gone,
My memories of us will carry on,
No matter what happens,
From now until then,
I will always love you,
Even in the end!
