Ishu Sharma Poem
Like dough
I am
So malleable
Shapeable
Into one
Or many forms
Like dough
I burn
And burn
On stove
On fire
Only to be
Strong, rigid and firm
Like dough
I am
To provide
Exotic delicacies
To your tongue
To let you savour me
While am young
Like dough
I burn
To be in the shape
And size
You yearn
And yearn
Like dough
I am a habit
Just a bun
Tasteful, forgetful
Just a craving
Which makes your stomach burn

Ishu Sharma Poem
Do you see me
Through the window
On the glass
A soul dancing in trance
Do you see me
Perfectly imprinting myself
On the brick walls
Through window pane
Do you see me
A winged soul
Trapped in human body
Acting so bold
Do you see me
Suggesting ideas
Anywhere, everywhere
With or without much thought
Do you see me
Standing in a shallow pit
Hiding my flaws
Balancing on my feet

Ishu Sharma Poem
Tomorrow
Whom I wait eagerly for
Tomorrow
Who never visits my door
I intently wait
And wait
From dawn to dusk
Beneath the blue sky
Until it turns to black
Like coal
With millions of tiny silver metal drops
To make it glow
I wait for tomorrow
To come and visit my home
Like snowflakes
Which cover in white
All the green landscapes
Of mountain tops
Tomorrow
Still doesn't shows up
So i lay here
Rendering all my hopes
To meet tomorrow
Someday one day
Or any day
A day lost in shadows
