Kiss Your Tears

Based on Psalms 56.8: Thou tellest my wanderings; put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
Written 4/2/15 @ 11am, © Deborah Taylor

When I cried, I kissed my tears,
Each tear He came and took.
He put them in a bottle,
Then He put them in a book.
One day as I was pouring out,
Love for my Savior;
The tears began to pour,
As I thanked Him for His favor.
Jesus kissed His cross,
On the way to Calvary;
What a precious way to show,
His love for you and me.
I began to kiss my every tear,
As they began to pour;
I knew they would get to Him,
He’d feel my love for sure.
No matter what I’m going through,
Or how much pain I’m in;
I’m happy just to know,
My kisses get to Him!
