Late Night Drinking

Woke again too early night before, I had no sleep
Tired of all this drinking, I woke up to take a leak
Must have had a nightmare, I was high, up in the sky
but on the way back down again I found, the reason why

(Chorus)
Drinking late in the night, you say it can be fun
Next day it all comes back, you'll remember what you done
Lets go have a taste, to keep my dreams at bay
Tomorrow I'll wake up sober that's the best, I'm gonna feel all day

Got myself together had a stroll down by the sea
Cleared my head of all that stuff, let the wind go free
The sun above was burning, the day was rolling on
Had to have another glass, to sit and write this song

(Chorus)
Drinking late in the night, you say it can be fun
Next day it all comes back, you remember what you done
lets go have a taste, to keep my dreams at bay
Tomorrow I'll wake up sober that's the best, I'm gonna feel all day

Time for my siesta, I will lay down in the sun
Dream of the good old days, and what I have become
must make my mind up, of which road I will take
Tomorrow is another day, and a decision I will make

(Chorus)
Drinking late in the night, you say it can be fun
Next day it all comes back, you remember what you done
Lets go and have a taste, to keep my dreams at bay
Tomorrow I wake up sober that's the best, I'm gonna feel all day (Repeat)

Wondering and Hurting

I've been thinking so much about you babe
I don't know where to start
My minds been working overtime
Its breaking up my heart
So I'm making up excuses now
of how I'm gonna play
but no matter how, its hurting now
I know its gonna stay

Chorus:
Well I cant say I love you
It's a different kind of love
So If you help me to decide
I know what I'm dreaming of
Oh yes its just the beginning
and I'll want you till the end
If not to be my own true love
I'll take you as my friend

My minds working overtime
like a time-bomb in a shell
I don't know which way to turn
I'm going through such hell
Oh yes its just the beginning
and I'll want you till the end
If not to be my own true love
I'll take you as my friend

Chorus:
Well I cant say I love you
It's a different kind of love
So If you help me to decide
I know what I'm dreaming of
Oh yes it's just the beginning
and I'll want you till the end
If not to be my own true love
I'll take you as my friend

So please help me to decide
These feelings that I try to hide
Tell me what your feeling too
Don't leave me wondering, If your hurting too (Repeat)

Oh Lonely Heart

Oh Lonely Heart
Where have you gone?
Oh Lonely Heart
Did I do wrong?
Now I'm alone here
Crying for two
Only lonely heart
I'm empty without you

Chorus:

My lonely arms
they miss you so much
My lonely lips
are longing for your touch
My lonely eyes
with them I can barely see
Oh lonely heart
What's happening to me?

Oh where will I find you?
Are you lost in my dreams?
Or have you forgotten ?
and this is not what it seems
Oh lonely heart
I'm hurtin' since you went away
With all of my prayers we'll be together on day

Chorus:

My Lonely arms
they miss you so much
and my lonely lips
there longing for your touch
My lonely eyes
with them I can barely see
Oh lonely heart what's happening to me?

Happy New Years Day 2017

Happy new year from our family to yours
A life of precious memories that you can endure
Profound emotions are shared along the way
Positive thoughts to help us through each day
Years have gone by were here now in another
Negative thoughts will make your heart shudder
Each day has a new beginning of hope and of joy
Wishes may they turn into goals so not to destroy
You rule your life so let your hope reign
Each day wasted can never be found again
Accept your past and just leave it there
Remember your love ones and how you still care
Share kindness with others stay healthy and strong
Dare to be special and you will always belong
Another year shared with family and friends
Your brand new story is here and on you it depends

We Talked It Over

Sometimes I wonder, how it all went so wrong
The love that we shared, had felt so very strong
We made it through good times, made it through the bad
You were the first love, that I ever had

Why cant our hearts stay together as planned ?
Cant you tell me darling ? Please help me understand
Why not lets try again ? Our love can conquer all
Left here without you, my world seems so small

(Chorus)
We talked it over, and now our love has gone
We talked it over, how can I go on
We talked it over, you still said goodbye
We talked it over, my heart wonders why

How I need your arms, to hold me close at night
and I need your lips to keep our love inside
and I need your eyes to see me through each day
Left here without you, there's nothing left to say

(Chorus)
We talked it over, and now our love has gone
We talked it over, how can I go on ?
We talked it over, you still said goodbye
We Talked it over, and my heart wonders why
We talked it over, I've no tears left to cry

Happy Emerald Anniversary

A Happy Emerald Anniversary wish
Is to thank you both sincerly
for all the thoughtful things you've done
and to tell you how we love you dearly

Love brought you both together
Hope entwined inside your heart's
Memories you will share forever
You were destined from the start

55 years on & your still going strong
You built a wonderful life together
A family home where we all belong
May it continue until the end of never

In My Eyes

I look in the mirror and who do I see
there's no recognition in her eyes of me
Her stare is distant she looks locked inside
I can help her to find her pride

Does she suffer from low self-esteem?
Does she dream until she screams?
Is she demanding self respect?
Is she worrying what happens next?

If I reached out would she pull me in?
I see myself drowning in her eyes
I'll try to help her from within
I can almost hear her cries

I know she wants to come back to me
We will find our strength together
The lonely past we will no longer see
We'll have a life of joy together
