As I lay in my mother’s womb, inside
Wondering how the world is outside
Would it be as calm, peaceful and caring
As I feel laying inside, dreaming
In my mothers prayer
“God, bestow peace”, I always hear
“A Home and education for all”
As she prays not for me, but, for us all
“Give us a world free of hunger and cruelty,
Where no one spreads greed and enmity”
Feeling her mind as she prays in the midst of all the hardships
For a world with universal equality and friendship
But it scares me when in her eyes I feel tears
Missing a beat when her mind is full of fears
I get scared at the sound of bombs, bullets and people crying
Because I heard her say “thousands of innocent are dying”
I have all these months dreamt with my mother
Of a place where mind is without fear and we all play together
Go to school and have a clean healthy environment
But, once outside, would I ever get these wonderful dreamt moment ?
I wonder if it would be better if, inside, I die
“A beautiful wonderful free world !!!” I feel its all a big lie
Why should I get a world full of hatred where dreams lie shattered
Where Peace and Humanity, it seems have never mattered
I pray to all of you outside
Upset, weakend by these thoughts inside
Wake up !! Before its too late
Else to die inside would be in our fate……

THE WORLD OF MY DREAMS
As I dream into reality of a World
A place where “War and Terrorism” have never been heard
A place where there is peace and no cruelty
A place where there is friendship and no enmity
As I dream of a world where mind is without any scare
Where the songs of natures beauty is what one gets to hear
Where the humans, animals, everyone live without any fears
Where everyone smiles and never drops any tears
As I dream, not for me, but for us all
To have a home to stay and Education for all
To have green gardens to play and food for all
To have quiet places to pray and health for all
But, I stand alone in my “dreams of reality”
As I hear the cries of hunger and poverty
Cruelty of War bringing the people to tears
Enmity and Greed giving us all a world full of fears
I ask, “Can my dreams ever come true”?
YES !! Only if with me I also have ALL OF YOU

We were taught earth is blue and green
But soon it might only be a dream
The cool breeze and the blue waters seem to be drying
“Help me”, it feels, the river and seas are crying
Who do we blame for this situation?
Its created by you, me and called “POLLUTION”
No more are the birds chirping
No more are the stars twinkling
No more are the seas calm
No more on our faces we see a charm
It effects us all from water, air and noise
To live with it, is this our only choice?
Friends, before its too late, lets all wake up
Fight it out rather than give up
Lets not litter, lets not scream
Lets plant a tree, and may this not just be a dream
To all our elders, join us fight it without a hesitation
Save the environment and us from the deadly “POLLUTION”

Friends!! To have many one always dreams
But, do you know what the word really means?
When he is sad
You feel really bad
When on his face you see a smile
There is sparkle in your eye
When ever you have a fight
You can not get to sleep all night
If he is in trouble ever
You are with him forever
When you do not see him for a day
For his safety, you pray
Have you ever had these feeling ?
Then only you would know its true meaning
You are known by the friends you keep
Lets make as many before we go to sleep
“Friends”, You can only win them when
you think not of you but for them
