Bridgett Marcum Poem
The wind blows
And the trees sway
The leaves rustle
There gone astray
The colors are bright
Just for the night
O' what a beautiful sight
From that stars light
I come to thee
With things to see
That is we
O' what a beautiful sight that is to be

Bridgett Marcum Poem
Someone who loves me unconditionally,
Praises me, acknowledges me intentionally
She gives me strength, knowledge
She is my inner most being.
Kind, caring, out-spoken.
Just the opposite of me,
Why couldn't I be more like her?
Things just happen to fall into places
When we became friends.
I couldn't believe how wonderful
Amazement filled my heart too
For the love that is instilled in her heart
She is always there for me
As I am always there for her
I praise her, acknowledge her as well
Love her, Trust her,
She is My True Friend

Bridgett Marcum Poem
THE CRYING DOOR
The light slowly disappears
As the door is closed on me
The cracking of the whips
Make me shudder within
The whisping sounds
Like thousands of teardrops
Where am I?
Why aren't the lights on
I can hear the shadows
Show me, where I am?
Enclosed, suspended
In the midst
Below the valley
Between the hard place
The Calvary is coming
For who or whom
The little one
Showered in the dark
Heavenly spirits around
Come out
Here in the room
Now open your eyes
It has all dispersed
Just like thin air

Bridgett Marcum Poem
Absence of thought process
What shall be focused
Lights or darkness
Awkwardness
Nothing gained or heard
Not even one single word
Losing touch
But yet wanting so much

Bridgett Marcum Poem
Beauty beyond compare
As light as the air
Leaves whistling
Brisk winters
Cars bustling by
Catching one's eye
The crackling of the fire
Melts the ice
Blooming new relations
Friendship, Lovers
One can only believe
Yet you are relieved
To one's beliefs
To each its own
It's only You
You're my boo

Bridgett Marcum Poem
The pain comes down from outside like rain
Pounding outside on the window pane
The feeling of anguish in our heart
I seems to play a part
Anger, when you have done something wrong
Then the days just get long
Hurting those that love you
Which can be very few
Hating, what you thought was right
You still put up one heck of a fight
There was never any doubt
We made it through this bout
